Committee details

This Committee (chaired by the Leader of the Opposition) meets monthly to scrutinise the decisions taken by Cabinet.

Decisions that are not in accordance with the approved policy framework or budget are automatically referred to Cabinet Scrutiny.

The Committee has the power to refer decisions back to the Cabinet for reconsideration or on to full County Council.
