Since 2000 there have been 19 recorded accidents on this stretch of road, involving 32 casualties. Local residents know that speeding is a serious issue here. Two serious accidents resulting in life-changing injuries have taken place recently on 25th June 2020 and 27th August 2020. This is the main route into Edenbridge from the north and sees vehicles regularly travelling well in excess of 30mph. Speed enforcement and safety measures must be implemented.
