Minutes: – report by Managing Director for Children, Families and Education) (1) This report set out the results of the public consultation in respect of this proposal and sought the views of the Advisory Board on the issuing of a public notice. (2) During the course of discussion members of the Advisory Board raised a number of points of detail to which Mrs Osborne replied as appropriate. Following this the Advisory Board expressed the view that the proposal should proceed and that a public notice should be issued. (3) Resolved that endorsement be given to the issuing of a public notice in respect of the proposal to change the age range for Newington Church of England (Voluntary Controlled) Primary School, Sittingbourne (from 3-11 years to 4-11years) by the closure of the Maintained Nursery Unit and its replacement by a Voluntary Pre-school provision.
