We are responsible for
determining applications for minerals and waste developments and
our own developments, such as new schools and facilities. We also
approve submissions made under the Channel Tunnel Rail Link Act for
construction traffic and spoil disposal.
The district, borough
or city councils determine planning applications for all other
types of development such as house extensions, new housing, and
offices.
