There is no safe way for pedestrians to cross in any direction and, there is no way of knowing which direction the traffic is going to come from as it is a constant flow of traffic. There are schools, a nursery and a service for adults with learning disabilities very close by all who would have to cross at these traffic lights. It would be especially dangerous for individuals who have decreased mobility or visual/hearing impairment. There is no safe alternative route to avoid crossing at the lights.
