There has been a noticeable increase on passing traffic. Motorists drive through the village in order to by pass a stretch of the A21 and A224 running at the bottom of the hill. This is easily assessed during rush hours. Village roads are also used as a back way to Westerham and Biggin Hill. Home delivery services booming business has increased the numbers of vans and cars driving through the village in order to avoid roads congestion and bypass the speed limits. The local primary has increased capacity therefore bringing more drivers during pick up and drop off times.
