A recent traffic survey commissioned by Kent County Council
Highways and Transportation Department identified that;
• on average 2 out of 3 drivers exceed 30mph limits on
Sandhurst Road
• Sandhurst Road traffic is intense (7,300 vehicles per day in
both directions) which increases the chances of serious
accidents
• according to http://www.crashmap.co.uk in the
last 5 years there have been around 25 accidents in Sandhurst
Road.
