Purpose:

The Kent Child Poverty Strategy will update Kent’s approach to child poverty, including discharging responsibilities under the Child Poverty Act 2010.  It will also provide a strategic action plan and monitoring framework against which progress will be tracked.

Decision:

The Cabinet Member for Specialist Children’s Services agreed that the Kent Child Poverty Strategy should formally be adopted as a Kent County Council Strategy.
