Purpose of committee
The Scrutiny Committee investigates issues affecting Kent County Council and Kent residents and makes recommendations to support the improvement of council services.
Scrutiny is an essential part of ensuring that local government remains transparent, accountable and open, resulting in improved public services, policies and outcomes.
