The mobile library service delivers services to a range of locations across Kent. As part of the Library, Registration and Archive service transformation a full operational review has been conducted of all the mobile stops and a redesign of the routes to improve service and make them as efficient as possible.
The proposed engagement programme will seek to engage with all mobile library users to make them aware of the proposals. This will give them the opportunity to comment on the criterion being proposed and the impact that the proposals will have on them and their ability to access the library service.

Consultation process
The mobile library service delivers services

review has been conducted of all the mobile stops and a redesign of
the routes to improve service and make them as efficient as
possible.
The public engagement will seek views particularly from mobile
library customers on the proposed outcomes of the redesign and the
potential impact on the current mobile library network. It will
also seek views on the service changes and improvements
proposed.
The proposal will detail the financial implications as well as
detail the findngs of the initital Equalities Impact Assessment
(EQIA).
Financial and legal implications: Will be assessed and detailed as
part of the cabinet committee paper but fully detailed post
customer engagement.
Consultees
Customer engagement with the users of the
mobile library service is proposed for late January 2016.
It is proposed that there is a county wide engagement process and
local members will be informed of the process through this.
