The Cabinet Member for Corporate and Democratic Services is proposing to authorise the Director of Infrastructure, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Corporate and Democratic Services, to award contract/s for the provision of Microsoft licences, including the necessary contractual negotiations, and enter into any subsequent necessary legal agreements.
This proposed decision is aligned to the Council’s ICT Strategy. The award of the contract/s for Microsoft licence provision will allow the Council to continue to use appropriate technology so that business units can continue to function efficiently to deliver services to the citizens of Kent.
This matter is referenced in the Infrastructure Business Plan, however, contract renewal will be completed in 2019/2020.
