D. Cabinet member decisions

D1. Recent urgent education decisions

Mr L B Ridings and Mr J D Simmonds, Cabinet Members for Education and School Improvement; Mr D Adams, Area Education Manager, Ashford/Shepway; and Mr G Ward, Assistant Director of Education and Libraries, Resources, will attend the meeting at 11.15 am to answer Members' questions on the necessity for the recent Cabinet Member decisions relating to the George Spurgen School, Folkestone (05/00743), and the expansion of The North School, Ashford (06/00772) to be taken as a matter of urgency.

E. Officer and council committee decisions

No officer or council committee decisions have been proposed for call in but the committee may resolve to consider any decision taken since its last meeting by an officer or council committee exercising functions delegated to it by the council.
