Purpose:
To seek approval for the allocation of funding
from the Special School Review capital budget
Decision:
As Leader, I agree to:
a) Allocate an additional 2.1m from Special School Review budget to rebuild and expand Ridge View School (Tonbridge).
b) Authorise the Director of Infrastructure, in consultation with the Director of Governance and Law to enter into any necessary contracts/ agreements on behalf of the County Council.
c) Authorise the Director of Infrastructure to be the nominated Authority Representative within the relevant agreements and to enter into variations as envisaged under the contracts.
In relation to other required officer actions not specifically delegated above, the Executive Scheme of Delegation for Officers set out in Appendix 2 Part 4 of the Constitution (and the directorate schemes of sub-delegation made thereunder) provide the governance pathway for implementation by officers
