Purpose:

Proposed decision: To authorise the County Council to:

a)    enter into contractual arrangements with Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHT) to continue to deliver Public Health services pursuant to the relevant exemptions in the Public Contract Regulations 2015; and

b)    continue the funding arrangements with district and borough councils for the delivery of Public Health services.

 

How the decision relates to BS4K and Corporate Objectives:

In line with the council’s Strategic Framework, the arrangements will allow for a focus on outcomes, whilst developing new services that will be based around the needs of the people of Kent.

 

Decision:

As Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Strategic Commissioning and Public Health, I agree to authorise the County Council to:

a)    enter into contractual arrangements with Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHT) to continue to deliver Public Health services pursuant to the relevant exemptions in the Public Contract Regulations 2015; and

b)    continue the funding arrangements with district and borough councils for the delivery of Public Health services.
