Purpose:

To agree the re-provision of services for people with a physical disability who use the Bridge resource centre, Hythe to achieve modernisation of the service to offer greater choice of provision.

Decision:

As cabinet member for Adult Social Care and Public Health, I approve the re-provision of services for people with a physical disability, using the Bridge resource centre, Hythe via alternative providers or a direct payment.

 

In taking this decision I have taken into account:

  • The feedback from the consultation that was held from 24 July to 16 October 2012
  • The Equality Impact Assessment that was completed as part of this process
  • The report presented and views expressed at the Social care and Public health Cabinet Committee on 9 November 2012.

 

Members of the Social care and Public Health Cabinet Committee resolved that the decision proposed to be taken by the Cabinet member for Adult Social Care and Public Health, to take forward the re-provision of services for people with a physical disability at The Bridge Resource Centre at Hythe, using alternate providers or a direct payment, be endorsed.
