Purpose:
As the lease on the current TRACS building in
rural Longfield ends in December 2013, and following consultation
with users, the Cabinet Member will be asked to consider the
transfer of the service to a more community focussed model
operating from community hubs in Dartford Town centre.
This is in line with the County wide Learning Disability Strategy
overseen by Good Day Programme
Decision:
The Cabinet Member has:
a) NOTED the pre-consultation work undertaken to develop community capacity in Dartford Town Centre.
b) CONSIDERED the feedback gained during consultation and from the Social Care & Public Health Cabinet Committee.
c) APPROVED the transfer to a more inclusive, accessible community-
based service
