Purpose:

To seek approval to enter into a land-swap and capital receipt transaction with a developer, subject to an agreement with the occupying academy and to authorise, via the executive scheme of officer delegation, the Director of Property and Infrastructure Support to conclude the transaction and enter into any necessary contracts or documents.

Decision:

The Leader of the Council has agreed for KCC to enter into a land-swap and capital receipt transaction with a developer, named in the exempt report and in line with the expectations also set out in the report, subject to an agreement with the occupying academy which provides for a split of proceeds.
