(1)       The Clerk reminded members the following had agreed to sit on the working party for the Agreed Syllabus Conference:-

(2)       Plus other subject specialists as required, making use of members’ expertise.

(3)       Mrs Corbyn reminded members that some of the above would be claiming supply cover/loss of earnings which would impact the budget.

(1)       The Minutes of the meeting held on 23 November 2015 were agreed as a true record and signed by the Chairman.

Dates of ASC Working Party

Monday, 27 March 2017 – Oakwood House 10am – 15.00

(1)       The date of the proposed ASC Working party at Oakwood House, Maidstone on Monday 27 March 2017 was noted. Ms Smith-Orr would email members with details if the meeting was going ahead.

(2)       Future dates to be agreed. It was noted that in the past these had followed the Chairman’s briefing.

(1)       In Mr Manion’s absence it was reported that following his recent meeting with Mr Gough £10k had been approved for financing the ASC. Ms Smith–Orr would investigate details.

(1)       The Chairman welcomed Mike McMaster and Kate Christopher from RE Today to the meeting who presented the confidential paper relating to RE Syllabus.

 (1)      By majority agreement was reached subject to securing satisfactory responses to budget concerns.
