    That under Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972 the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

    Minutes:

    (1)          Members of the Panel had before them the application forms and supporting information on the candidates who had been called for interview for the post of Corporate Director of Children, Young People and Education

     

    (2)          Following the interviews the Panel discussed the views received from the Stakeholder Panel and the performance and merits of each of the candidates.

     

    (3)          RESOLVED that, due to the statutory nature of the post,  the appointment of the preferred candidate for the post of Corporate Director of Children, Young People and Education, be delegated to Head of Paid Service, following a satisfactory outcome from the rigorous due diligence to be carried out by the Corporate Director Engagement, Organisation Design & Development.
