Kent County Council in
partnership with Dover District Council and the town and parish
councils has set up five Dover District Neighbourhood Forums that
are working together to give you a greater influence over your
local services and the quality of life in your
community. Local councillors and
officers from the county, district and parish/town councils are
involved in the meetings to hear your concerns. Come along to our neighbourhood forums and tell us
about the issues affecting life where you live. These are public meetings and everyone is welcome
to attend.

Funding in the Dover District 2014/15
‘You Decide’ Grant
Scheme
The ‘You Decide’ Grant Scheme
for 2014/15 is now open!!
‘You Decide
enables community groups to apply for funding from the Dover
District Neighbourhood Forums – a grant scheme jointly funded
by Dover District Council and Kent County Council.
This year DDC has allocated
funding to each of the Dover District areas, (Dover West, Sandwich,
Dover North, Dover Town, Deal and Walmer). Additional funding has
been allocated from the KCC Member Community Grants (MCG) for the
Dover North area. For all other areas, grants will be available via
the KCC Combined Member Grant Scheme.
You Decide involves communities
recommending which local projects are worthy of funding. Please
note as this is public money, all grants must be approved by the
KCC and DDC Cabinets.
Apply now for ‘You Decide’
2014/15
Deadline for completed applications is Friday 10
