Local Health and Wellbeing Boards
The local Health and Wellbeing Boards lead and advise on the development of Clinical Commissioning Group level integrated commissioning strategies and plans, ensure effective local engagement and monitor local outcomes. They focus on improving the health and wellbeing of people living in their CCG area through joined up commissioning across the NHS, social care district councils, public health and other services to secure better health and wellbeing outcomes in their areas and better quality of care for all patients and care users.
