Minutes:
(1) The Head of Planning Applications Group informed the Committee of correspondence from the Local Member, Mrs S Gent raising no objection to the application.
(2) RESOLVED that permission be granted to the application subject to conditions, including conditionscovering the developmentbeing carried outin accordance with the approved plans; theMRF’soperatinghoursbeing 0700 to 1700 on Mondays to Fridaysand0700 to 1200on Saturdayswith no activities taking place on Sundaysor BankHolidays; no more than 20,000 tonnesof wasteperannumbeing imported to the site; wasteawaitingprocessingbeing storedonlyinthestoragebaysidentifiedinthe application documents; the only waste materials entering the site being metals,cardboard/paper, glass,wood,plastics,rubber,constructionand demolition, textiles and municipal/general wastes; no putrescible waste enteringthe site; allsortingandseparationof thewastematerialstaking placewithinBuildingA with the flexible screen doorsclosed; wastestockpile heightsnotexceeding 3metres; anywastematerialsnotleavingthesitewithin1 monthbeingturnedto ensure thathotspotsdo notdevelop,and themaximumretentiontimeforwaste materials on site being 3 months; recordsof allwastethroughputsbeing maintainedandmadeavailabletothe County PlanningAuthorityupon request; theareas identifiedforparking,turningandmanoeuvringbeing keptavailablefor such use atall times; adequate measuresbeing implementedto ensure thatvehicles leaving the site shall notdeposit mud or othermaterialson thepublichighway; and the submissionfor approval and subsequentimplementationof aDeliveryandServicingTrafficManagement Plandetailingtheroutingof delivery vehiclestoand fromsite,parkingandturningareas forvehiclesand sitepersonnel,and the timingand control ofdeliveries.
