Committee details

            The Children's Champions Board has been set up to:

• develop expertise that enables Members to act as Champions for Kent children who are looked after, or are abused or at risk of being abused;
• consider statistical information that includes staffing levels and Performance Assessment Framework (PAF) indicators;
• consider reports from the Kent Child Protection Committee and in relation to Looked after Children;
• develop a framework for gaining feedback from staff involved in Child Protection and Looked after Children work, foster carers and users of services;
• oversee advocacy work for Looked after Children in school placements.
