As Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, I agree to:
i) Authorise the allocation of £10,973,348.01from the Basic Need capital budget for the rebuilding and expansion by 1FE of Teynham Parochial CEP Primary School.
ii) Delegate authority to the Director of Infrastructure, in consultation with the Director of Education, to enter into any necessary contracts or other legal agreements, as required to implement this decision.
iii) Authorise the Director of Infrastructure, Strategic and Corporate Services to be the nominated Authority Representative within the relevant agreements and to enter into variations as envisaged under the contracts.
iv) Issue a public notice to permanently expand Teynham Parochial CEP Primary School from 210 to 420 places, increasing the published admission number (PAN) from 30 to 60 for September 2026.
And, subject to no objections being received to the public notice.
