The completion of the A249/Grovehurst Road Scheme is well over a year late. The whole of Sittingbourne and Sheppey has been affected by prolonged traffic misery as a result, and residents living in Kemsley, Iwade and Bobbing have been most acutely impacted by road closures and diversions and nearly daily disruption to their lives.
Local residents and businesses have paid a high cost in both time and money.
KCC need to reveal what fines and penalties they have issued to the contractors and commit to spending that money in communities impacted.
