The traffic driving on this stretch of road on the approach into Paddock Wood, from the start of the 30mph zone on the north end of Maidstone Road to the sharp bend of Baxhalls and Eastlands Lane, does not slow down after the 30mph sign and continues through this stretch of road around the blind corner; vehicles frequently travel of speeds of 50 mph in the 30 mph zone which is an accident waiting to happen.
Many residents cross this road on this stretch to walk their dogs along Eastlands Lane and public footpaths.
Also a number of residents’ driveways are set back from the road and it is extremely hazardous to pull out onto Maidstone Road.
