Coldharbour Traveller Site – New Pitch Fee - 12/01957

The weekly pitch fee for the expanded Coldharbour site, Aylesford, Tonbridge & Malling, new pitches due to open late in 2012.


How the decision  relates to BS4K and Corporate Objectives:


The completed project which expands the site from 8 to 26 pitches will help  tackle disadvantage within the Gypsy and Traveller community.


Impact/costs and risks of proposed decision:


The pitch fee will fund the maintenance and management of the new site, and repay much of the prudential borrowing used to pay a large part of the costs of the new site.

The only people affected by this decision are current and future pitch occupiers of the Coldharbour site, who have rights to challenge the proposed pitch fee under the Mobile Homes Act 1983.


The aim of the consultation will be to receive comments on the proposed pitch fee from those to be affected by it.
