    Kier Initiative - Completion of contracts (various sites) 12/01911

    To agree the entering into of contracts with Kier Property Developments Limited on behalf of Kent County Council for the 45-50 year lease and transfer of the following properties:

     

    1. Former Spires Academy, Sturry Canterbury
    2. Land adjacent to Bensted House, Faversham
    3. The former Birchwood School site, Swanley Sevenoaks

     

    The property assets are no longer required by KCC for operational purposes.  The proposal represents the best value for the assets, and will deliver a significant number of mixed tenure housing units, stimulating the Kent economy and providing much needed affordable housing.
