01/02002 Primary and Secondary Schools - Coordinated admission schemes

To determine the primary and secondary school co-ordinated admissions schemes for 2014 and the admission arrangements for Kent community and voluntary controlled primary schools and the admission arrangements for Kent community and voluntary controlled secondary schools 2014

 

Cabinet are required to formally determine the admission arrangements for all Voluntary Controlled and Community Schools in Kent & the Co-ordinated admissions scheme for admissions to Kent Schools in 2014

 

Financial Implications:

This is an annual statutory requirement and is outlined in the Las business plan

 

Legal Implications:

These will be outlined in the report to Education Cabinet Committee in March 2013

The consultation was reported in the Cabinet Members verbal update at Education Cabinet Committee on 21 November 2012.

 

The outcome of the consultation will be discussed by Education cabinet committee on 19 March 2012

 

A consultation will run between the 15 November 2012 and 15 January 2013 and will target all admissions authorities in Kent; neighbouring admissions authorities; diocesans
