Expansion of Pembury Primary School, Tunbridge Wells



REASON: A temporary expansion was completed for the academic year 2013-2014 and a bulge class accommodated.  The proposed decision to permanently expand the school has now been withdrawn and instead a decision to build a new school in Tunbridge Wells has been taken and is intended to achieve the same admissions objective for the locality.  You can view the decision to create a new school at Knight’s Park here:




To seek approval of the expansion of the above named school from 420 places to 630 places and to the issuing of a public notice to that effect.

Consultation targeting the following stakeholders has been undertaken:

A consultation has been established and will run from 26 November 2012 – 21 January 2013.
