Extension to the Contract for Waste Treatment and Final Disposal (Landfill)

To seek authority to extend the latest landfill Contracts up to 31 March 2016, in order to allow a full Tender Process to be undertaken for a new Waste treatment and/or final disposal contract.  The contracts to be extended are:

 

Extension to the Contract for Waste Treatment and Final Disposal (Landfill)    2011-2013 – Viridor.  Ref WTFD 10/23.

Extension to the Contract for Waste treatment and Final disposal (landfill)

Biffa.  Ref WTFD 10/23.

Extension to the Contract for Waste Treatment and Final Disposal (Landfill) – Veolia.  Ref WTFD 10/23

 

Not taking this decision to extend is detrimental to the Council’s business as KCC has a statutory responsibility to dispose of all types of waste.
