    Disposal of parcels of land - Seabrook Road, Hythe; Moat Farm Road, Folkestone; Spring Lane, Canterbury; Stock Lane, Wilmington and Astor of Hever, Oakwood Park, Maidstone

    To authorise the Director of Infrastructure, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Corporate and Democratic Services, to finalise Terms of the following property disposals and enter into any agreement to finalise the transactions. 

     

    16/00065a – Land at Seabrook Road, Hythe

    16/00065b – Land at Moat Farm Road, Folkestone

    16/00065c – Surplus Land at Spring Lane, Canterbury

    16/00065d – Land at Stock Lane, Wilmington, Dartford

    16/00065e – Land at Astor of Hever, Oakwood Park, Maidstone

     

    The sale of the assets will secure a capital receipt to fund the capital programme.

    Financial Implications: An early disposal will save on security and holding costs. Disposal of surplus property is required to support the Council’s Capital Programme. If capital receipts are not realised this will impact on the delivery of the Capital Programme.
