Financial Implications:
It is proposed that the budget available for the NEET Support Service will be £500,000 per year. The Service is one county wide contract. The contract will be for three years, with the potential to extend for up to 24 months.
Legal Implications: Any implications will be identified in the report to the Cabinet Member
Equality Implications: EqIA has shown no known negative impact as the existing targeted group will still be targeted by the new service. In addition to this NEET is the golden thread through all Early Help contracts and is a focus of the Early Help Units.
