The Cabinet Member for Corporate and Democratic Services proposes to authorise the Director of Infrastructure in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Corporate and Democratic Services to award the contract for the supply of technology services to KCC including the necessary contractual negotiations and enter into any subsequent necessary legal agreements.
The decision to award the contract for the supply of technology services to accelerate the modernisation of the Councils technology,will allow the Council to continue to use appropriate technology so that business units can continue to function efficiently to deliver services to the Citizens of Kent.
The decision to award the contract commits the Council to spend approximately £5 million over the next three years.
