On 6 July 2016 the Cabinet Member agreed to the expansion of Sellindge Primary School by 0.5FE, with effect from 1 September 2018, subject to planning permission being obtained.

The reasons for the delay to the expansion were outlined to the Committee on 13 October 2017.
