    KCC, with the support of the Governing Body at John Wesley CEM Primary School will consult on the proposal in the autumn of 2018.

     

    The Children’s, Young People and Education Cabinet Committee were consulted on the proposal at the Cabinet Committee on 29 November 2018.

     

    Financial implications: There are no implications for the Capital Budget as the school has sufficient space to accommodate the SRP without the need for additional building. Commissioned places will be funded in line with KCC policy from the Revenue Budget . This is presently at £10,000 per commissioned place and top up funding for each pupil on role. The proposal is to commission 4 places in 2019-20, 8 in 2020-21 and 12 in 2021-22. The estimated financial implications to the Revenue Budget for the first 3 three financial years is as follows: FY 19-20 : £33,024 FY 20-21 : £84,936 FY 21-22 : £135,671

    Legal implications: Any legal implications will be identified in the report to the Cabinet Member before he takes his decision.
