    15 January 2018 - the Commissioning Plan for Education Provision 2018-22 was endorsed by the Cabinet Committee.

     

    In accordance with the Department for Education’s Statutory Guidance (April 2016): Making ‘prescribed alterations’ to maintained schools, there was a need to undertake a formal statutory consultation process.

     

    An education consultation has been completed prior to the cabinet committee.  Further information is available on the School Consultation webpage:

    The results of the consultation were reported to the Children’s, Young People and Education Cabinet Committee at the meeting on 29th November 2018.

     

    Financial implications: Capital – There is no additional capital expenditure required for this proposal. Revenue – FAW and East Borough will receive additional revenue funding in accordance with the Pupil Growth Policy established by KCC and the Schools’ Funding Forum. Human - The schools will appoint additional staff as and when appropriate.
