19/00044 - Kings Hill: Joint Venture Development Agreement between Kent County Council and Liberty Property Trust UK. Calibrated land disposal programme for residential development including: Phase 3 (Areas 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,) and Phase 5 (Areas 5.1,5.

The Cabinet Member for Corporate and Democratic Services agrees to delegate authority to the Director of Infrastructure to finalise terms and enter into all the necessary documentation to complete the disposal of all identified land parcels required for the calibrated land disposal programme within the Kings Hill development partnership scheme, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Corporate and Democratic Services and the Cabinet Member for Economic Development.

 

This decision relates only to the land identified within the Kings Hill Development Agreement 1989 and subsequent Deeds of Variations.

Financial implications: KCC’s share of the returns from the partnership is re-invested into KCC’s service delivery to support the Medium-Term Financial Plan.

Legal implications: The Kings Hill Development Agreement 1989 requires KCC to release the land to facilitate the partnership’s agreed aims.
