Your Voice - Your Services - Learn about how your money is being spent

Minutes:

Kayley Phillips introduced the “Your Voice Your Services” leaflet and advised that this is a campaign to make your voice heard.  In these tough times it is very important to hear public views on services provided by KCC and how your money is spent.  Responses show that street lights, roads, libraries and public transport are the main areas of interest.  It has been established that the average house price in Kent is £200,000 (Two Hundred Thousand Pounds).

KCC are publishing all invoices in excess of £500 (Five Hundred Pounds) and salaries on the internet.

There is a competition in the leaflet, the prize being a weekend away in Edinburgh.
